Computer Class Open House & Registration

Registration for the next 10-week computer session will be held on Tuesday,      August  23rd, at the Open House from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon in the Computer Room. Our teacher, Cherie Houston, will discuss upcoming class topics for September and answer questions about computers and about our classes.  Come for light refreshments and information.  All are welcome.

You may also register for Computer Class by calling the Center Office (617-471-1000 X106) beginning Wednesday, August 24th, at 9:00 AM.  The next 10-week computer session begins on Tuesday, September 6th.  Each weekly class is 90 minutes long, and there are different levels of training available. 

BEGINNERS (Intro to Computers, operation systems, keyboards, and other basics);

INTERMEDIATE 1 (Internet and Email);

INTERMEDIATE 2 (WORD AND EXCEL) and INTRO TO E-READERS AND         TABLETS AND INTRO TO IPAD;          

ADVANCED CLASSES  are also available.

Classes are held on Tuesdays and  Wednesdays.  A limited amount of students are able to bring their own laptops for classes. All Residents and Center Members are welcome to register.

Registration fees for Beginner and Intermediate Classes are $10 and the Advanced Classes are $20 for the 10-week computer session.  Brochures and schedules will be available in the Center Office.
