    Sail Boston 2026 will take place in Beantown celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States with a spectacular gathering of tall ships from around the world.

    Boston is gearing up for one of the most exciting maritime events in decades, the return of the Tall Ships in 2026! After more than a decade since the last fleet graced our harbor, these majestic sailing vessels will once again dock along Boston’s waterfront as part of America’s 250th birthday celebration. The event is known as Sail Boston and is expected to draw thousands of visitors from around the world. The last time this happened was in 2017 when over 3.8 million people came to witness the spectacle.

    According to CBS News Boston, the 2026 celebration will be part of a national series of events commemorating the semi-quincentennial of the United States. Dozens of international tall ships are expected to arrive, bringing with them not just awe-inspiring visuals, but also a rich history of global maritime tradition.
