You might say this place is in Brian’s blood. Proudly following in the footsteps of his father, and grandfather Reverend Bedros Baharian, who founded 1000 Southern Artery, Brian has been at the helm since 2010. He embraces his family history of excellence in serving the community’s residents and continues to look for ways to uphold that legacy daily. Brian holds a BA in Psychology from The University of Massachusetts, Boston. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and spending time with his wife and two sons.
Linda’s enthusiasm for serving others is reflected in the many fun, diverse and educational events and activities for Seniors at 1000 Southern Artery. A grateful cancer survivor, she is inspired by the residents’ own life stories, and by her own faith. Linda obtained her BA in psychology from Boston University and her master’s in psychology from Boston College. She and her husband are huge basketball enthusiasts and the parents of three grown children.
Assistant Activities Director
There’s never a dull moment with Kristen around. She loves her role in keeping our residents happy and productive through whichever activities inspire them. While our residents benefit from her experience in public relations and event planning, she says she continually benefits from their wisdom and life lessons. A graduate of Merrimack College, she is also a yoga instructor, cat lover, wife, and proud mom.
Kitchen Manager & Head Chef
The delicious aromas, tantalizing selection, and beautiful dining experience at 1000 Southern Artery are due to Marie’s artistry, culinary talent and dedication. She’s been working here for over 14 years but hesitates to call it “work,” because the residents and staff feel so much like family. When she’s not making magic in our kitchen, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Beauty Shop Manager
Cheryl grew up around the corner from 1000 Southern Artery, watching our community grow and improve since she was a girl. That young girl soon discovered a career in beauty and has spent the last 29 years making our residents look and feel their best at our in-house salon. She and her husband enjoy day trips to the casino, spoiling their cat, and rooting for the Pats and Red Sox.
