Special Screening from Victory Films

On Friday, January 13th at 1:30 PM in the South Wing Auditorium we are hosting a special screening of the award-winning documentary, The Unimaginable Journey of Peter Ertel.

The film is about the remarkable odyssey of an amateur German violinist who is drafted into Hitler’s army and defies overwhelming odds to not only survive the war but to become a U.S.  Government agent. After immigrating to America, he begins a 25-year career at a small company in Ohio owned by Orthodox Jews. 

Peter Ertel, 95 at the time of filming,  grippingly tells his own extraordinary story with unprecedented candor, insight, and raw emotion from the rare viewpoint of a reluctant soldier in modern history’s most infamous army. 

After the film, all are invited to stay for a special Q&A Zoom session with the Producer and Director, Joseph Cahn.
