Lots of fun…the exercise classes, bowling, shuffle board, and horseshoes keep us moving. We have a spacious activities room and game room. Love our sunny, bright apartment. Because of the size, I have less time cleaning…and more “me” time.  I like our apartment layout and our deck.  It has forced us to downsize, which is a good thing. The maintenance staff is outstanding and very helpful. You can walk from building to building all indoors. Overall, it’s a fabulous place to live for the elderly.

It’s all handicapped accessible. I have access to everything in my wheelchair, which is great.  The maintenance staff is awesome. I’m thankful that 1000 Southern Artery comfortable warm, safe and affordable.

I love Zumba. I feel like I walk taller after class. The Stretch & Strength class helps with my balance and flexibility. Lifting weights is keeping my bones strong. The instructors gear classes to all levels of abilities, they are terrific!  The trip to New Orleans and Tennessee was terrific. Loved the Grand Old Oprey. The Rose Parade in Pasadena was great, we saw how the floats were made. Prince Edward Island was very interesting, I would definitely do it again.

Many, many activities and classes. Yoga, knitting, Qi Gong gets all of your parts moving! The staff is dedicated and helpful, and the residents look out for each other. Plus, I like that I can vacuum my apartment in about 10 minutes!

There’s lots to keep you busy. Chair yoga helps me get exercise without strain. There are busses to church and the store, and the in-house store is great when you can’t get out in bad weather. Lots of nice tenants when you don’t want to be alone.
